Patricia Bay is conveniently located just ten minutes from the charming seaside village of Sidney, population 11,000. Known for its museums, full-service marinas, oceanside walkways, unique shops, and restaurants, Sidney is the perfect place to have lunch with friends, go shopping, and a great base to explore North Saanich. The town really comes to life during the summer months where a walk around the harbour will bring live music from the Centennial Bandstand, and a trip to the local summer market, produce from the best of Vancouver Island’s farming community. The town boasts over 100 shops, boutiques and art galleries as well as seven bookstores, and is home to three museums including the British Columbia Aviation Museum. Sidney is a natural haven for people who love the outdoors. A small ferry will take you to the Sidney Spit Provincial Park where hiking and wildlife enthusiasts will find endless trails and rare species of birds and animals. Ocean adventurers can spend their days fishing, boating, kayaking, scuba diving and whale watching.
